Signs you need an eye exam:

Sudden Blurry Vision or Problems Focusing

Sudden appearance of visual disturbances such as floaters, flashes of light, or obstruction of vision.

Gradual Blurring of Vision

Eye Pain or Eye Fatigue/Strain

Squinting

Sensitivity to Light

Eye Infection

Our comprehensive eye exam includes:

1. Prescription
2. Glaucoma screening
3. OCT scan [tri-dimensional imaging]

*Additional fees may apply to extra tests (these tests are not covered by the health card.)

- Over the age of 65, an eye exam is covered by OHIP once every 12 months.
-OHIP will also cover annual exams for people with diabetes and/or certain eye conditions
- Children should be seen yearly for their eye exams. With a valid Ontario Health Card (OHIP), their exam fee is covered up to the age of 19.
