Signs you need an eye exam:

Sudden appearance of visual disturbances such as floaters, flashes of light, or obstruction of vision.

Eye Pain or Eye Fatigue/Strain

Sensitivity to Light

Eye Infection

Our comprehensive eye exam includes:
1. Prescription
2. Glaucoma screening
3. OCT scan [tri-dimensional imaging]

OHIP COVERAGE
-Children and youth under 19 years old are covered by OHIP for the following:
1 major eye exam (for vision and general eye health) every 12 months;
Any minor assessments if needed.
-65 years and older and you do not have an eligible medical condition (diabetes, glaucoma, etc.)
1 major eye exam for you once every 18 months and 2 additional follow-up minor assessments, if needed.
-65 years and older and you have an eligible medical condition (diabetes, glaucoma, etc.)
1 major eye exam for you once every 12 months and 2 additional follow-up minor assessments.
